NOTE: DUE TO THE BALD RIDGE WILDFIRE IN SUMMERLAND, WE HAVE CONTACTED THE SECOND HOME CAFE AND CANCELLED THIS BREAKFAST RIDE. WE WILL GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM ONCE THEY ARE BACK AND WILL TRY TO RESCHEDULE FOR ANOTHER DAY. WE ARE WORKING ON A REPLACEMENT BREAKFAST RIDE ON SHORT NOTICE. STAY TUNED FOR MORE UPDATES.
The Second Home Café & Grill in Summerland has been our last Breakfast Ride of the riding season for the past few years. This year we're moving it to mid-summer, August 23rd. They put on a great buffet breakfast and it is usually well attended, and it may be even more so in summer.
This is a buffet breakfast. The price last year is a reasonable $18.95 for adults and $16.95 for seniors (60+) but we'll update the price a soon as we have it.
Doug Ison has been stick-handling this event and our hosts would like a heads up on our numbers so that they can set aside some space for us. If you're planning coming, please advise Doug by Wednesday evening (August 19th) by email at disonf900@shaw.ca.

Description
When arriving in Summerland on Hwy 97 from North or South, look for the traffic light at Rosedale Ave which is at the top of the hill. Turn West into Summerland and continue to the first Roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jubilee Road West. At the second corner turn left onto Henry Street. The Second Home Restaurant is on your left with parking on the South side.
