VBMWR Summer Barbecue

Dan & Lisa Mirabent have generously offered their property in Beaverdell as the location for our Summer Barbecue. The property is a beautiful spot behind the Beaverdell Station Fuel (Formerly the Red Rock Garage) and it borders on Beaverdell Creek.   

The barbecue will start around 1PM on Saturday and could run up to 10PM Saturday evening.  There is a camping area on site for tents and there is room for 4 RV's for those who want to stay over.  Pets are allowed as long as they are friendly with other dogs.  If you want to bring an RV contact Dan directly at dan@redrockgarage.ca to reserve a spot. There are no hookups but there will be portable toilets and clean water available.  

Beaverdell RV and Campground is just a few yards down the road if you want hookups for your RV.  

Dan is sponsoring the barbecue with the club but there may be a small charge for the meal and/or donations to the Kelowna Gospel Mission.  Bring a chair if you can fit it on your bike.  We will supply utensils and paper plates etc.  

We will be looking for volunteers to help with the set-up, serving and clean-up.  Since Beaverdell is a little out of the way for shopping we would like to hear from you by Saturday, July 16th if you plan to attend.  Please contact Judy at events@valleybmwriders.com to let her know you are coming.  

This should be a great event so we hope to get a great turn-out.  

NOTE:  Registration for the catered food is now closed and all on-site tent and RV sites are spoken for.  You can still attend the event and socialize and have a great ride.  However, if you haven't registered for the food, you may want to bring a picnic lunch with you or plan to patronize one of the local food vendors for your meal.   We will supply soft drinks and coffee.  The weather forecast looks fantastic.  See you all there.
