VBMWR Summer Barbecue

We're getting ready for our VBMWR Summer Barbecue which will be held on Saturday, July 22 at Adrian & Kathy's place in the Glenmore area of Kelowna. 

Adrian and Kathy have a lovely 2 acre yard located at 567 Curtis Road.  There are lots of trees and shade and it's a great place for our barbecue.  Adrian and Kathy have generously offered their property several times for this event.  For a map and directions, check out the venue below.  

The club will be providing all of the food and non-alcoholic drinks for the barbecue, so No charge.  We plan to have Burgers and Brats with all the fixings.  We will be getting a number of salads from Beet'N Boo's Bistro and Catering.  We had their salads a couple of years ago and they were great.  There should be more than enough to satisfy the vegans and vegetarians in the crowd.  If you want to drink something of a more alcoholic nature, you'll have to bring it yourself.  

Things should start to get underway around Noon and we'll tentatively plan to start serving food around 1:30 or 2:00.  You might want to bring a chair to sit on.  

If you are coming from out of town, or you wish to indulge in a couple of drinks and don't wan to drive home, there will be limited camping on site for Saturday night only. Adrian has advised that reservations for camping are not required.  There are no RV services or hook-ups, but a portable toilet will be on site.
