Sunday, Oct 22nd - Breakfast Ride - Second Home Cafe & Grill - Summerland

The Second Home Café & Grill in Summerland has been our last Breakfast Ride of the riding season for the past few years. Last year they put on a great buffet that was well attended.
We were a bit in doubt on this breakfast due to the road closures north of Summerland, but the road has been open to two way traffic for the last couple of weeks. There is the possibility of short closures, but the last couple of trips through the area were smooth with a 50 kph section for about 6 km through the construction zone.
This is a buffet breakfast. We haven't confirmed the price for this year, but last year it was a very reasonable $16.95 for adults and $14.95 for seniors. Expect the price to be a little higher as it is just about everywhere.
Our hosts would like a heads up on our numbers so that they can set aside some space for us. If you're planning coming, please advise Judy by Wednesday evening (Oct 18th) by email at events@valleybmwriders.com.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can get a few bikes to show up. The riding has been fantastic so far this fall so maybe we'll get a few more days in. If the weather is a bit inclement, don't hesitate to come on four wheels.

When arriving in Summerland on Hwy 97 from North or South, look for the traffic light at Rosedale Ave which is at the top of the hill. Turn West into Summerland and continue to the first Roundabout. Take the first exit onto Jubilee Road West. At the second corner turn left onto Henry Street. The Second Home Restaurant is on your left with parking on the South side.
