Last Chance Camp-N-Ride - Oroville WA

The Last Chance Camp-N-Ride has become a VBMWR tradition at the end of September.  The summer crowds have gone home from the Osoyoos Lake Veterans Memorial Campground and we usually have most of the campground for ourselves.  The nights are getting chilly but we normally have a campfire or two to gather around in the evenings.  As with the Midway camp, this event is well attended by both Canadian and American members.  We benefit from some of the local knowledge and there have been a number of excellent day rides in the area in past years.  

We normally have several campsites reserved close to the washroom facilities.  Some of these sites are powered.  Prices have been in the $10 per tent per night range and we'll have to confirm closer to the event.  There are showers on site.  There are a couple of restaurants in Oroville that are within walking distance for dinners.  

If you're riding down from Canada, don't forget your passport for the border crossing.
