The weather forecast for Monday is spectacular so we're going to do our annual Little Fort Ride to partake in the great food at the High Five Diner in Little Fort.
We plan to meet at the Village Dairy in Armstrong at 10:00 AM. We'll go out Hayward-Armstrong Rd to Salmon River Rd, then Hwy 97 through Falkland and Westwold. On the way we plan to ride Barnhartvale Rd to Kamloops then north on Hwy 5 to Little Fort. The High Five Diner has great food and excellent deserts. (Just what we need.)
We might come home via Agate Bay Rd which runs from Barrier to Adams Lake. Agate Bay Road is a great paved route with very little traffic. The down side is that it entails about 18 km of gravel down the west side of Adams Lake. It's a big wide road, but it can be a bit on the dusty side. Anyway, we'll make that decision on Monday.
We hope we get some takers. Wayne & Heather

Where are you riding from, Rick? I, too, wouldn't mind joining Wayne and Heather at Falkland. If you like, you could join me for the ride to Falkland. Have you got an approximate time for there, Wayne?

Hi Jim
I believe that Rick is riding from Salmon Arm.
We are planning to be in Armstrong at 10:00. How quickly we get away from there. It depends on how many are there and are they ready to go. No one has told us yet definitively that they are meeting us in Armstrong. We've got a couple of maybes so.......
Google maps puts Armstrong about 30 minutes to Falkland so arrival there will be between 10:30 and 11:00.
Cheers, Wayne

I'll be at the Falkland Petrocan at 1030 and will anticipate you sometime between 1030 and 1100. I've ridden that Agate Bay road before and it's quite good. Looking forward to the gravel, too, as I'll be riding my V-Strom.
