If wired properly the video recording will start and stop in conjuction with the ignition. Great videos for capturing memories of a ride or as a record of a road incident. Asking $290. While no longer in production by thinkware this is a very solidly built and high quality camera setup. thinkware makes some of the best dash cam units on the market.
