Dave's Neighbourhood garage

There are rumours out there that Dave's Neighbourhood garage in Vernon is closed. Anybody knows anything about that? 

 

I heard the "rumour" about Partly Daves closing a few weeks ago and have repeated myself to at least one person.

I just called the phone number online 250-549-3666 (same number for years) and a fellow named Leon answered. He said that he is the new owner, they are carrying on with servicing BMW motorcycles, and that Dave is planning to be around to help with the transition for at least a few more months.

I said I would help spread the word that they are in fact open for business as usual!

Good information Emery.  Do you know if they are going to change the name?  We have "Partly Dave's" listed as a sponsor on our front page and I would like to update it.  In fact we need to update all of the "sponsors" as EK's Grill is closed and is still there.  I just have to figure out how to access and change those.  

If you're talking to the fellow again, try to get some information so we update things on our web site.

Dave has retired, after 40 years at the same desk, he finally pulled the plug! Leon now owns the place, had oil filters I needed, and was good to talk to. There is a lot of work being done on the place, the crew is still the same. I will check in today and post any updates.

I spoke with the new shop manager, Dave Wagner, at Partly Dave's in Vernon today. Dave advised me that there are no changes to the business other than the new ownership and management.
New owner is Leon Chubynsky.
New Manager is Dave Wagner. Dave is the main contact for service.
The shop location remains at 1805 - 46 Ave Vernon.
The phone number is the same as before: 250-549-3666.
BMW motorcycles will be serviced as before.
Motorcycle mechanics are the same.
The Website is the same: partlydaves.ca.
