Tool Loan Program was created by tskucher
I’d like to suggest that, as a club, we pool our resources and put together a tool loan program where we can each make known to the collective what BMW (or other) special tools we might happen to have in our respective toolboxes.  I have so far accumulated a few such tools (both of the Airhead and Oilhead variety), and would be more than willing to loan those to fellow VBMWR members in need.  And, I may well have need for some special tools myself in the future, so it would be nice to know if there are others in the club who might have what I may need.  I am thinking it would be an Excel spreadsheet type of thing that is hosted on the VBMWR site, and that can be updated whenever a participating member happens to acquire a special tool that they are willing to loan.  Anyway, food for thought.  I’d be interested to know if others in the club have an interest in putting something like this together for the common good.

I have some tools that I could make available. Good initiative.

I like the idea.  I wonder if we could do something similar to our "Members Help" listing.  The format is already in the web site so adding another category shouldn't be too hard.
We are currently having a bit of an issue with that one that Mike our Webmaster has been working on.  For some reason the listing shows up just fine on my iPhone and iPad but doesn't show on my Windows PC with Chrome.  Clicking on the "Export to PDF" button works however.  It's weird because it also works fine on my PC if I use MS Edge.
Have a look at it.  We should be able to make a list by tool type and maybe be able to include a photo.

I don't see the list using Chrome in either Windows 10 or on my Samsung Android tablet. Clicking PDF works.

If this proceeds may I suggest that there be an understanding that if a tool is damaged the borrower buys the lender a replacement. Should not need saying but....

I wonder if the issue is a setting in Chrome?  I may do a bit of playing around.
