Off to Tuk was created by brianbrowning
Well in the midst of a hectic life I am off on another journey. Maybe not epic as some in our Adventurous community but big for me. Last year was a test of me and the machine so we just touched into the NWT, Hay river, Fort Smith, Fort Liard. The Cassiar. I found the Side hack if a great way to travel, just a tad harder on my body and it's tires and Driveshaft!!!
So this year I am more prepared and am going to push up the new road to Tuktoyaktuk. I'll post up some pictures and a road report once I am back.

I love the photo of the hack on the hoist. Great way to service the bike. From what I'm hearing about road conditions on the new road to Tuk, if you get dry weather it's a piece of cake. If you get wet weather it's a nightmare of mud and snot on the road. Hopefully you will hit dry. I'm also told that if it is wet, a couple of days of no rain will dry it right out so extra time and patience may be a require.
However, with the hack you will likely be a lot more stable in the mud. I hope you have a great trip. Take lots of photos.
Cheers, Wayne
