Hello folks,
Do any of you have experience in using tire sealants in tubed tires? I am planning on making a trip to and around Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Nevada this year and would like to guard against flats. One suggestion from a Kamloops Motorcycle store was Ride-On which not only seals but also balances your tires.
Any feedback is welcome.
BTW, if you recently toured the areas I described let me know what to see, avoid, and any other tidbits!

Great area to ride. Done it many times.
Not a fan of tire sealant ( it may hide a bigger issue) Carry a repair kit and some tire irons and take your chances.

Yes, it's been 35 years since I was there last so it's time again! Do you always bike down or trailer to area? This year, for the first time, we sew considering trailering to Provo or such, find a place to safely park/store truck and trailer, and explore!

I am in Az right now and rented a bike for 2 weeks. Rode from Mesa and recommend you not miss riding Hwy 191 northward from Clifton to Springerville .... mountain grades with fantastic views and many 10 - 15 mph curves with almost no guardrails or car traffic. No vehicles over 40 ft are permitted past a certain point and you start out at around 3000 ft altitude and ride up to over 9000 ft with a 360 degree view of Az and New Mexico. Lots of other rides that I can recommend if you are interested.

I never trailer my bike! Of course I only go down in the summer.

Hello alfshether,
That's the kind of ride we love. Will certainly put it on the list of rides if we get that far south.
A friend from Europe may join us this year and I recommended that he rent a bike. Maybe you could let me know how your rental experience was and any suggestions re local rentals you may have.
Cheers,
Roland
