This extraordinary stretch of fine fall weather just doesn't seem to want to quit and we don't want to quit riding.
Let's meet this Friday, October 7th at the Village Cheese in Armstrong. We'll plan to leave on our ride at 10:30 AM.
The plan will be ride up Salmon River Road to Tappen. We'll then take Sunnybrae-Canoe Point Road up the north side of the Salmon Arm of Shuswap Lake to Herald Provincial Park. There's a nice short walk up a canyon to Margaret Falls which is well worth the walk.
We'll then ride back to Tappen then around Balmoral-Carlin Road past White Lake, then down to Blind Bay and a meal stop at Finz Bar & Grill mid-afternoon.
If you're interested in joining us, see you at the Village Cheese. For those leaving Kelowna, I was surprised that BOTH of the Petro-Can stations in Winfield are closed so we might just as well meet in Armstrong.
Hope to see you there. Wayne

A quick correction. When I passed the Northbound Petro-Can in Winfield on Tuesday, there was fencing around the fuel pumps and it was closed. However when I passed it yesterday afternoon, it was open for business as usual.
If anyone from Kelowna wants to join me, I will be at that Petro-Canada station shortly after 9:00 and will plan to leave there at 9:15. Let me know if you are joining me.
Cheers, Wayne
