Afternoon,

Looking at a new helmet and the Arai I tried on fits me like a glove. Obviously a top notch lid so I'm not concerned about overall quality or potential issues.  My only holdback right now is the lack of speaker pockets in the EPS liner for a comms system.   Everything I have found online shows people installing the speakers in the cheek pads.  Does anyone here have an XD4 with a communication system installed and can report on the fitment of the speakers?  My concern is that comfort i'm feeling in the store without the system installed will change once the speakers are installed in the pads. 

Any feedback appreciated.

Hi Brad

Sorry, I can’t help you with the Arai as I haven’t worn one in years. I am surprised that it doesn’t come with speaker pockets. I would have thought that every helmet in this day would come with them. 
Have you tried sending an email to Arai themselves to see what they suggest?
