"I have a good friend who is a member and former executive in the Bee Cee Beemers and he forwarded the email from the club announcing the cancellation of the rally.

"It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Bee Cee Beemers executive announce the cancellation of the Nakusp Rally going forward.

We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the club members also friends of the Rally."

Reasons given were lack of participation and volunteers within the club. Too bad as I always enjoyed the rally and made many friends at it."

Good discussion people. I suppose I only brought it up cause Kathy and I went this year and we had a good time. Kathy suggested that we go again next year. I actually joined their club so I could offer to help and to know what was going on in the greater part of BC. LOL. A little too late I suppose. It seems that their focus is on group rides and weekly meet ups, according to the E mails I get. Probably why the rally is going away. They probably ran it one more time just to see,  which then proved that it has had its day and it is time to let it go. 
I have every thing ready to head to Midway in several weeks time. Kathy is coming, so as long as she doesn't have to cook any meals and I cater to her every whim, it may be a regular thing. Yippee!!  No tenting:-(
Provided I recover from the damn Covid thing. Got me dragging my ass
