We last did this route in May of 2022.  We really enjoyed it so we tried to repeat it on the August Long Weekend but we had to postpone it due to too much smoke. 
This Friday, September 1st looks like it will be a beautiful day for a ride so we're going to try again.

We'll obviously have to make an amendment as Westside road is closed.  We plan to start fairly early as it is a fairly long ride at 500+ km.  We will be leaving Kelowna around 8:00 AM and may be meeting Heather in Armstrong around 9:00 AM.  Meeting place TBD and will be announced on another post.  

The general route is: 

• Hwy 97 to Barnhartvale Rd
• Barnhartvale Rd to Campbell Creek Rd  (Note: about 12 km of Campbell Creek is unpaved hard pack.)
• Campbell Creek Rd to Hwy 5A
• Hwy 5A to Merritt
• Option: for those wanting a shorter day, you can head home over 97C (The Connector) back to Kelowna
• Hwy 8 and Hwy 97C to Logan Lake
• Tunkwa Lake Rd to Savona
• Hwy 1 back through Kamloops to Barnhartvale Rd
• Barnhartvale Rd to Hwy 97 (Darn, have to ride Barnhartvale twice in one day.)
• 97 return to home.  

Heather and I will return to Enderby at the end of the ride.

This ride sounds great, I am up for this!  Is there a meet-up location in Kelowna at 08:00?

How about we meet at the Petro-Canada in Winfield (Northbound) at 8:00 AM.  We are planning to stop at the Hwy 97 Diner in Westwold for breakfast.
