I broke down and got the bike insured.  So I'm headed off for the first ride of the season this Saturday morning, maybe Osoyoos for lunch.  Back to Kelowna for 1600 and the customer appreciation day at Honda Powersports.  Anybody interested?  Weather supposed to be sunny with a high of 17 degrees C.

Hi Jim

Thanks for the invite, it sounds like a great day, but we've already made plans for this glorious weekend. 
Heather is going to insure her bike tomorrow morning (Friday) and we will be off riding.  The tentative plan is:
  • Friday - Starting around noon leave Kelowna and ride up the West Side, then take some back roads up through Armstrong.  We plan to end the day in Enderby.  
  • Saturday - We are planning on leaving Enderby and taking a loop through Armstrong, Salmon River Rd back up to Salmon Arm then on to a late lunch at Moose Mulligans in Sicamous before returning to Enderby.  
  • Sunday - We'll leave Enderby and possibly ride out as far as Cherryville before returning to Kelowna.  
If anyone wants to join us for any of these rides, please get in touch and we'll set up a meet time.

No Worries Jim.  We're going to miss the customer appreciation day at Kelowna Powersports, but that's mainly because I didn't hear about it until breakfast on Wednesday.  I guess I haven't bought a bike from them.

Be a tad careful. I just drove Silver Creek and Salmon Valley roads and they are still covered in sand. That was Tuesday so it might have blown off some by then.. Was still winter up here a week ago. !!!!
