Hi Wayne,
Ill see you in Armstrong at 10am. Was wondering about the gravel part, is it loose or packed? Thinking of taking my K1600, otherwise Ill use the Vstrom.

Hi James.  Great to have you aboard.  The gravel section is well travelled and well used.  It's fairly wide but can be dusty and bumpy if it hasn't been graded lately.  You could do it easily on the K1600 (I took my Honda ST1300 through there once) but you might be more comfortable on the V-Strom.
