Finally got the GSA up to 10 k. Oil change, dropped the rear diff to check splines. new diff fluid. Checked the wheels as I have heard that the spokes can be an issue with the 2018s. DAMIT. just about every rear spoke is a dull thud. and most of the fronts with 3 on the front that rattle they are so loose. Might be that thumpity Thump I feel in the foot pegs. Now to see if I can get warranty. Hmmmm who do I phone???

Hi Brian: I fixed it for you. You can delete the duplicate photos by clicking the "edit" button on your own post.
In this case the edit pane showed six attached photos in the text. I simply deleted the duplicates.
Are you going to try to get warranty service on the loose spokes? If they are that loose, I'm not sure if I would want to ride it to the nearest dealer. (Kelowna?)

I'll Phone Dave at Bentley to see what he says. If they can't get it fixed in a timely manner I'll try Langley. 3 trips to Bentley, an hour labour charge to diagnose the warranty issue and then they had the bike for almost a month waiting for the Throttle body. The riding season is just getting started not sure I am liking this new bike, I might have to ride the Honda for a while. :-0

Got an appointment at Bentley. Seems there is a service bulletin on the 2018s I'll ride careful until they can check the pesky spokes and remedy the issue. I'll keep an eye on them and if they get worse I'll ride the ST. If it doesn't sell that is. It's going
to finance the new Sidecar

It's time for Gumby to get a new pair of shoes. I'm very pleased with the performance and wear of the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II's. My last set lasted over 16,000 km and I really liked the ride. For a 90/10 tire they worked pretty good on gravel roads as well so I ordered up a fresh set from FortNine back in February and it's time to change.
First off, let's get him up on the lift.
Started with the back tire. I like to get the harder job done first.
Here's where I ran into an issue. I'd ordered a set of angled valve stems from Fortnine. Nice looking set from BikeMaster. I got trapped by the web site. There are six different colors of valve stems on the same page. I thought they were all 11.3 mm stems. It turns out that chrome ones I ordered were the only ones that were 8.3 mm. Unfortunately I had already cut off the old valve stem (it was hard as a rock) so we're done for the day.
